Smoking the pipe I did some weeks ago to celebrate the birth of my son. I didn’t have enough time to smoke it until now! Very happy moment!

I wanted to practice rounded forms and bent shapes. Acrilic ring.
BTW, I decided to smoke the first one of my pipes. The poker i did few time ago. I’m not sure that the wood added to the shank will be resistant enough so I decided to keep it for my particular use.

I met Robert (pipe artisan of Markuz pipes) for first time in person and I gave him the lovat. I had an awesome evening and dinner with him and his wife.

My first pipe smoked
I never tested one of my pipes yet, but this week my friend Melvin Mifsud from Malta, photographer and pipe smoker as me) came to visit us to our country and stayed some days at home.
I gave him the pipe with whale shape and he tested it after the dinner.
He said that it smokes perfectly, but that’s not because of my… the kit where pre drilled. But anyway I’m very happy to see that it has been smoked.
I have the opinion that a pipe is not a pipe until it is smoked.
PS: The bad thing is to know that Melvin mostly smokes aromatics… poor pipe 😛
