I bought some briar wood from Romeo Briar and some preformed ebonite stems also from Italy.

With this and with the new vertical drill, I did my first pipe from 0. I expected a total disaster with the drilling, but that has been the easy part. It is my sixth pipe and the first real one 🙂

I wanted to practice to attach a wood ring to the shank in this one.

This pipe is now property of the great illustrator Simon Oxley, also known as Simonox, great friend of mine.
